Extensive Pre-Clinical Studies have been carried out by Viralytics, these have demonstrated the broad range of cancer cell types which are specifically targeted and destroyed by CAVATAKTM.

 

Preclinical Proof of Concept has been achieved in a range of cancers.  CAVATAK™ targets tumour cells specifically and acts on a wide range of cancers, whereas many new anticancer drugs in development target one type of cancer only. 

Preclinical results, using bioluminescent imaging, have shown that CAVATAK™ treatment eliminates tumours.

Viralytics is actively pursuing research to investigate the use of CAVATAK™ for a broad range of cancer indications including: glioma, lung, pancreatic, bladder, mesothelioma and multiple myeloma.  If validated, are expected to add considerable value to the CAVATAK™ product for potential future commercialisation partners.
