Mr Bryan Dulhunty – Managing Director
Mr Dulhunty is responsible for Corporate Strategy, finance and management of the Company, he is an accountant with initial experience gained in one of the big four audit firms before moving to one of the world’s largest international companies.
Mr Dulhunty is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years experience. His experience has been gained from international audit firms, major international corporate firms, as well as CEO, CFO and Corporate Governance roles for high growth companies based in Australia. Bryan has lead the Viralytics team since 2006 and has significantly restructured the Company, cutting annual cash outflow by 50% while establishing and undertaking a clinical trial and cGMP manufacturing program. Bryan has been a director of a number of public and private biotech companies.
Professor Darren Shafren – Chief Science Officer and Inventor of the Technology
Professor Shafren is responsible for research, development and intellectual property management. Dr Shafren is Associate Professor of Virology in the Faculty of Health, University of Newcastle, and works full time on the Virotherapy project. Darren is the inventor of the oncolytic virus technology acquired by Viralytics.
